BASIC CONCEPT / VISION:
This event is designed to assist people of all career levels with the key elements important to the interview process. Participants will meet with Human Resource professionals from a variety of industries and do a speed interview approach to the hiring process.
Every participant will walk away from the event with a written critique of their performance with tips from the Human Resource professionals.
WHAT PARTICIPANTS CAN EXPECT:
Get practice and feedback on basic interview questions, have the opportunity to get your resume reviewed by an expert, and network with potential hiring recruiters.
WHAT VOLUNTEERS CAN EXPECT:
All volunteers will need to arrive at the event by 6:00 for a dry run of duties and question / answer session. No preparation is necessary. Questions, Interview tips and Answers are already prepared. Volunteers facilitate the outcome only. Be ready to have LOTS of FUN helping others.
HOW THE EVENT CAN HELP YOUR ORGANIZATION’S HIRING NEEDS:
You may provide lists of opportunities at your organization or job descriptions you’re hoping to fill. Everyone providing a job list must provide a volunteer. All participants can receive your information, and while you do not need to staff a booth to provide your open positions it would be a great opportunity to speak with interested participants!
Come prepared as if you were going on a real interview!
