In this panel discussion, we will talk with management-side lawyers, a plaintiff's lawyer, and an experience employment dispute mediator about what Human Resources professional do wrong that get employers sued. What they can do right to keep from getting sued. And why sometimes employers get sued even when they doing everything "right." This should be a lively, engaging, and entertaining debate!
We will discuss:
- What do HR professionals do wrong that get employers sued?
- What do HR professionals do right to prevent employers from being sued?
- Why do employers gets sued even when they've done everything "right"?
This program has been submitted for 1 certification credit with SHRM and HRCI.

There is a $5.00 off Early Bird rate in effect through February 12, 2019. Registration closes Monday, February 18, 2018.
We will be meeting in a Ballroom. When you arrive at the DoubleTree, drive around to the back of the hotel (the North side) and park in the back parking lot. The Ballroom is near the glass north entrance doors.

There is an additional $5.00 service charge for all walk-in registrations.
SHRMJC's Cancellation Policy: If you must cancel your reservation, please do so no later than 72-hours prior to the event. We are required to turn in the number of registered attendees to the Ritz Charles for planning purposes and must pay for the number of attendees we anticipate, whether they attend or not. As a not-for-profit organization we simply can't afford to pay for no-shows. Thanks for understanding!
