Mary B. Lucas is an author, speaker and people connector. As Chief Talent Officer for Supplemental Health Care Mary and her team focus on creating solutions that enhance the talent experience and deliver efficiencies in the areas of both talent attraction and engagement. Mary has more than 35 years of staffing industry experience. Starting her career as a recruiter just out of college, she has spent her entire career in staffing focusing on finding people work and companies’ people. In 2006, she published the highly successful book, Lunchmeat & Life Lessons, a motivational memoir and tribute to her father on how to bring out the best in yourself and others. The book's momentum took off immediately and its impact felt around the world. Companies, professional organizations and universities have invited Mary to speak to audiences large and small and share her wit and wisdom. SHRMJC's Cancellation Policy: If you must cancel your reservation, please do so no later than 72-hours prior to the event. We are required to turn in the number of registered attendees to the DoubleTree for planning purposes and must pay for the number of attendees we anticipate, whether they attend or not. As a not-for-profit organization we simply can't afford to pay for no-shows. Thanks for understanding!
