This presentation will cover a general business immigration law update, including discussion of the latest ICE work site enforcement activity, top I-9 issues, SSN No-Match letters, as well as challenges and successes in global mobility efforts by U.S. employers in the current immigration climate.

Danielle Atchison practices in the area of corporate immigration law for Mdivani Corporate Immigration Law Firm. Danielle advises the firm's clients on visas for international personnel, investors, and executives, as well as employment-based green cards. She assists employers with immigration compliance plans, policies and procedures, I-9 audits, E-Verify compliance, and immigration related defense from ICE worksite enforcement investigations. Danielle also provides pro bono representation to immigrant women and children survivors of domestic violence and other violent crimes in petitions before USCIS under Violence Against Women Act and the U Visa program. Danielle is a member of several local and statewide legal organizations, including The Missouri Bar, Kansas Bar Association, AWL, KWAA, KCMBA, AILA, LAKC, Johnson County Bar Association. She is a board member on the Earl E. O’Connor Inn of Court. She is on the board for the Young Lawyers Sections of LAKC. She is also the Chair of Missouri Bar Advisory Committee on Civic Education, a graduate of Missouri Bar Leadership Academy, and a judge for Missouri Bar’s We The People program. Danielle is the Chair for The Missouri Bar's Immigration Law Committee. Danielle is an Adjunct Professor of Law at the University of Missouri-Kansas City where she teaches global immigration work visas, immigration compliance, and relief for immigrant survivors of domestic violence.

We are required to turn in the number of registered attendees to the DoubleTree for planning purposes and must pay for the number of attendees we anticipate, whether they attend or not.
