Code of Ethics
- The Chapter adopts the Society of Human Resource Management's Code of Ethical and Professional Standards in Human Resource Management for members of the Chapter in order to promote and maintain the highest standards among our members. Each member shall honor, respect and support the purposes of this Chapter and of the Society of Human Resource Management.
- The Chapter shall not be represented as advocating or endorsing any issue unless approved by the Board of Directors. No member shall actively solicit business from any other member at Chapter meetings without the approval from the Board of Directors.
- The mission of the SHRM of Johnson County chapter is to promote professional development. It is considered inappropriate to use the meetings and membership list as a means to solicit your products or services.
- The Chapter will not discriminate on any basis with respect to its activities, programs and policies.
